What some folks are going through now is akin to what Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey has to face when he went through the strait of Messina. Odysseus has to navigate the narrow strait between two monsters Scylla & Charybdis. Homer's Odyssey described Scylla as this 6 headed monster that will devour sailors of ships passed within her proximity while Charybdis is a single whirlpool creating monster that will suck any ship down into the depths of the sea with one gulp.
What did Odysseus do? He opted to pass far enough from whirlpool monster Charybdis avoiding the ship & the whole crew from being sucked into the depth of sea but only just near enough to Scylla, so that he would end up losing only few of his men to the 6 headed monster. Odysseus understood that when you are caught between Scylla & Charybdis, it is impossible not to encounter losses. It is how you minimize such loss that count. Odysseus did just that and by doing so stamped his immortality. It would not be an easy choice when you have to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea, but choose you must nonetheless.

except, if Hj Hadi is Odysseus, he is steering his ship to Charybdis. On the other hand,Najib's Odysseus is steering him far from Charybdis and closer to Scylla.
the first thing to do it seems, is to create a single ship first. who is to be Odysseus?

Ini semua mainan politik buang masa. kalau umno dah lemah, pas berkelahi siapa nak tolong manusiawi berjenama malayo di desa dan kampung?
Kalau terpaksa memilih antara UMNO dan PR, saya memilih PR. Semua pemimpin UMNO yang saya kenal tidak nampak keikhlasan mereka. Perjuangan mereka hanya harapkan balasan, ada tujuan.
Dalam hal Kerajaan perpaduan, Najib kata PAS ikhlas. BETUL!!! Tapi UMNO hanya impikan PAS berpecah dan hayat mereka (UMNO) lebih panjang. Muka muka UMNO yang mengulas pasal UG di tv3 semua hipokrit
Orang biasa... jika kita mahu Melayu dan Islam bersatu atas jenama kerajaan perpaduan atau apa sekalipun, elok duduk semeja dan lihat apa yang nak dibincangkan dan halatujunya sebelum kita buat persepsi liar - you get what you give.
Dalam politik terkini, bermula dengan niat ikhlas kadang2 bengkok dihujungnya. Kadang2 bermula dengan bengkok tapi lurus pula dihujungnya - serba mungkin.
Duduk dan bincang - mulakan dan akhirkan dengan selawat dan salam pun dah cukup berkat - susah sangat ke.
Kluangman... berbeza fahaman dan halatuju politik bukan bermakna kita mesti bermusuhan sesama sendiri. saya lebih bersetuju jika orang islam bersatu di bawah platfom Pakatan Rakyat.
Sebagaimana kata TGNA, perpaduan di bawah payung PR lebih baik dari BN. Saya beri satu contoh dari pengalaman saya sendiri, BN(UMNO) khususnya penuh dengan rasuah. Bukan persepsi liar, saya ada bukti, saya pernah alami. Gejala ini pada saya mustahil untuk dibanteras dari UMNO.
