A Millionaire I was & a puppet I am not....

...said "MB" Nizar.

“I was a millionaire before this, when I was a professional engineer. You can check my bank account.

“I drove eight cars — three were Mercedes Benzs and I had a BMW too.”

Nizar added that after he became the Mentri Besar, his salary barely touched RM15,000 a month.

“Before this, I could have earned at least RM40,000 a month. Plus, I only spent a few hours in the office once a week.

“As Menteri Besar, I worked from 7am to about 2am. But we were willing to relinquish all these pleasures of life because this is not what life is all about,” he said.

Read Nizar denies being a puppet of DAP cousins

Good for you Mr. "MB"! "Who said I am hard-up for that new Camry?" He should have said that too! He has BenzES & a Beemer, that Camry is for suka-suka only. Kids, if you want to be rich don't become an MB. The sacrifices people made when choosing power over wealth. ..ya, rite!

Phew.. I am glad to hear that he got it out of his chest and said that he is not a puppet to N&N. By the way, I am also sure that you can hear the same exact answer, if and when the same question is asked to Mr. V "Super-Speaker" Sivakumar.

...Puppet? What puppet?? Mana ada? ..haha

Salam Tuan Lawyer,

Malaysian politics, I learnt my lesson, knowing is worrying.

The bottom line is:

WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON.

Old Traford magic is fading, and Alex is also ageing.

Like what Master Yoda said, deep trouble the devils will be.

Wassalam.

Tuan Loya(r),

1) "I was a millionaire" "Was" is the operative word here. Does that mean he's no longer a millionaire?

2) "I'm not a puppet". Reality is subjective my man. One needs to analyze objectively who calls the shot in Perak, prior to the sidang bawah pokok :)

May wisdom prevail.

If that is not "riak", I really do not know what is. Jsut immagine Khalifah Umar Abdul Aziz says; "Before I am a Caliph, I have 10,000 camels, but now I only have one donkey".

Which reminds me of what Kyosaki's said - there are people having big income statement, but poor balance sheet.

And in the "Millionaire Next Door" by Danko, Prof at Berkely university, they found through survey that, the real millionaires (not the showy2 ones) are prudent with their money, and do not spent their hard earned money on flashy cars.

Incidentally, it would be interesting the yardstick used by Nizar, Ringgit millionaire, Rupiah millionaire or Euro millionaire. I think thhe current yardstick is still USD 1 million net worth. If that is the case, then I thnink there are plenty of "jutawan senyap" around.
