Where are my 2 engines at?
..aha! Or else the public will speculate & make improper analysis like what the clever minister said, is it not? We so thick we'll jump into stupid conclusion, right? Wrong!
”I have directed my people to conduct a complete check, the entire movement of the two engines, and I want to know where the engines are now. ”This is not a simple matter. It is a concerted effort by a group of people,” he noted.
Now for all those not-so-dim-witted people up there looking for the engines, look no further...
For all that you know, the damn engines could be here...
...or maybe here
but not here I hope... coz it kinda make the whole deal not worth it, don't you think so?

Disclaimer: This neither an analysis nor it is a speculation. It's just me, rambling away.... Gudnite people!

You don't steal something if you can't get away with it..
I wonder how many elephants, under repair primes, fighter jet engines were actually.... prior to all these ...hmmm ...hey, what about other humongous animals, or other big autobots? What about other combat apparatus? Still there meh? We may actually have many, many David Copperfields in our midst, ladies & gentlemen... David Blaine, you better watch out...
Then again, what the heck... we can always pretend that there is no elephant in the room or that no elephant is or will be missing from the room... like we always do...
Or we can always warn people to shut up ...hush now people...
“However, I do not want bloggers to try to distort any facts with all sorts of speculation and analysis on the matter. The Prime Minister and I will constantly monitor the investigation findings,” he said. Read more here

Kecek koksir & the "toksir" rule
Ayahcik di KB baru-baru ini ada menceritakan salah satu falsafah perniagaan & hidup bapanya (moyang anak-anak saya) ..the "toksir" rule kata ayahcik.. Do not do to others what would anger you if done to you by others, lebih kurang begitulah yang saya faham..
Saya ingat daripada kecek koksir, sesetengah orang politik sekarang patut lebihkan mengamal the "taksir" rule ni.. what goes around, comes around orang putih kata... karma..
..*bo', bo' lah kecek berlawok tuh..

"cuba, tengok betul-betul cik, bila kesalahan tu?" saya tanyakan
"2003"..jawab polis 1 selamba, sambil polis2 yang pegang senjata, tepi jalan, tengah jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman yang sibuk demgan kenderaan dan manusia bersimpang-siur, cuba menambahkan kegerunan mukanya, maintain garang beb....
"Cik, sekarang ni tahun 2009, cuba cik lihat lesen saya tu, dan lihat juga roadtax kereta saya sekarang, agak-agak cik kalau saya tak selesaikan saman-saman tu, buleh ka saya perbahurui lesen dan roadtax, cik?"
muka polis 1 terkedu pilu... polis 2 masih cuba tambahkan kemachoannya..
"Lagipun cik, saya pun dok buat kerja macam ni jugak cik, tolong orang yang kena tahan tak kena tempat, saman orang yang...ini salah ni..saya pun boleh buat report ni..." saya tambah lagi...
"Err, cik kerja apa cik.." cepat-cepat polis 1 potong syarahan saya.
"Saya, meniaga kecik-kecik cik..peguam"
"cik, maaf cik mungkin ada silap ni, komputer kami ni, cik kena pergi jumpa IO dulu, bagitau dia, maaf cik ye, tahu jelah benda-benda ni, bukan betul sangat.."

N31 NS: Molopong kau jang puteh mato...

It's always darkest before the dawn
Coupled with Pakatan Rakyat's own folly these days, they hope their choice for Bagan Pinang as such would not be less attractive than what Pakatan Rakyat has to offer all the while. The lack of work-rate, talent, vision, understanding and ethics in some of the PR reps should then by itself justify UMNO's choice for N31 by-election. UMNO can certainly score points there, no doubt.
Maybe it's true that it is always the darkest before the dawn. Maybe that's what UMNO is hoping to portray here, and that the people would understand and tolerate their current game play for Bagan Pinang. It is always darkest before dawn, so they will say.
And as such the voyage to the all squeaky clean land must now be put on hold. There's a battle that they have to win. The war can wait. The point they are driving home now is that UMNO maybe at its lowest ebb, but don't despair, things will be better soon. They'll pick-up where they have left as soon as the by-election is over, am I right?
For UMNO's sake, they now should pray that the rest of the people (apart from the Bagan-we-are-crazy-for-Isa-Pinang folks) can stand and tolerate the dark. It should be okay if all of them are sound asleep right through dawn. But somehow I doubt that. Not all the people are heavy sleepers. The slightest of noise could've awaken them up from their slumber. On the other hand, some of us are natural early risers; we wake up before dawn.
I hope that it will be dawn soon. Like most of us that are well awake, I can tolerate the darkness but not for long.

Zulh, Jani, Dr. Bagar & Adi, good to see you guys at the vaji game yesterday ;) The boys may have lost the game but they sure can, at times yesterday, whoop those vaji boys. Hard luck boys! 22-14 not a bad score. There will always be Bangkok next year.

Mabuk Ketupat & Lemang
He cited the example of former Umno president Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad against whom first prime minister, the late Tunku Abdul Rahman, had taken disciplinary action for writing the book, “The Malay Dilemma”.
“Due to strong pressure from the grassroots, the next prime minister, the late Tun Abdul Razak (Hussein), took Mahathir back and the latter went on to become a great leader,” he said.

Bakal pengundi sedang memerhati, sekelian jelata sedang menimbang. Hati-hati bila memberikan pendapat.

The Blues of Mr. Sugu...something..
- ”I admit I was carried away by emotions when I stood before the delegates. It was a big hall and there were so many people…I had to say something important,” Sugumaran said by telephone
- “I was deeply hurt when Tun said Datuk Seri (Samy Vellu) had done nothing for the Indian community,” Sugumaran said. “It is Tun who had done nothing for us. Datuk Seri has done so much for us.”
- “I have this problem with my mouth…sometimes I get carried away and over speak,” he said.

Restriction on the word "Penang"
GEORGE TOWN: Those wanting to use the word “Penang” for functions, events, publications and other purposes must first get permission from the state government, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said Tuesday.
He said there had been complaints of the word being used in functions, events and magazines which had nothing to do with the state government.
Wow! Where has all the "ketuanan rakyat" gone to? Even the usage of the word "Penang" needs the permission of the state government. I can understand if the restriction is for the usage of the wordings "Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang" or anything that connote the highly efficient CAT government, but "Penang"? Come on lah. The word "Penang" is NOT only about the state government. All the unnecessary extra bureaucracy for the people just to hold simple functions such as "Majlis Sambutan Aidilfitri Peguam-Peguam Syarie Pulau Pinang" or the "Penang Gerakan Gala Dinner 2009". What gives?
Petty administrators!

Tolerance & understanding
"Tuhan" is good as any other word if one needs to refer to the Supreme Being. Why gamble on the suit if one could foresee the unnecessary tension and discord that it would cause if the main claims (i.e. a declaration that the decision by the Home Ministry on Jan 7, 2009, prohibiting the usage of the word “Allah” in the Herald The Catholic Weekly publication was illegal and that the word “Allah” was not exclusive to the religion of Islam) are to be allowed by the court?
Don't tell me that without the word "Allah" in their weekly publication etc., the teaching and the practice of Christianity in this country have been put to a halt, the freedom of its preachers and the progress of its followings (as allowed by the law) on the back burner all this while.

Politik pun politik lah, habis saya belasah.
Liriknya nyanyian Ito masih segar dalam ingatan;
Poi pokan naik basika
Tongah haghi tongah paneh
Apo dayo motong gotah
Apo nak dikato
Kalau boleh nak jadi cikgu sekolah
Kek Kolo Pilah..........
Apo nak dikato....
Ito nyanyi lagi;
...Batu Ompek Toluk Komang
Tompek oghang mandi mando
Aghi minggu ponoh sosak
Apo nak dikato
Air laut bertambah masin
Kek pokan Port Dickson....

Putrajaya bid not over, says BenRazak
BN-pool boss BenRazak insists his side's Premier Putrajaya League title challenge is still alive despite their 7-1 defeat by PR-Villa at Permatang Pasir.
The Dacings have lost seven out of their first eight league games and BenRazak said: "We now know that we have to go to the people and win.
"Everything could change if we do that, our confidence will improve.
"This squad is virtually the same as last season so I believe it is good enough to mount a title challenge."
BN-foo.. oops, my bad ..pool were beaten by on the opening weekend of the season but they appeared to have put that defeat behind them when they recovered to nearly overpower PR-Villa at Manek Urai.
PR-Villa had other ideas and an own-goal by Lucas-Haizat and a Curties-Man header in first-half injury-time put Brahim Ole'Nuar's side in charge at the break.
BNMedia Torres pulled one goal back after some heavy Dacings pressure in the second half but BN-pool conceded a rash penalty soon afterwards to allow Hassan Ashley to make sure of the visitors' victory from the spot.
BenNajib added: "We were not playing well, and we were up against a team who are excellent on the counter-attack.
"Their goalkeeper Mahfuz Friedel made some great saves, but when that happens we just have to make more chances.
"We will have to sit down and analyse every player now, and make sure we do the right things in our next match. But our senior players must take more responsibility."
BenRazak feels individual errors were behind his side's defeat and felt they came at "crucial times" (though some of his players and trainers might not agree, they are blaming a segment of the fans and the wind respectively instead).
"In the first 20 minutes we created plenty of chances and played well," he explained. "Then we conceded the own goal and started to make more mistakes.
"We have lost and we know we have to improve. I felt we had a chance when BNMedia Torres scored, but the penalty finished it. It was a clear penalty."
In contrast, Ole'Nuar was proud of his players after seeing them pick up their seventh points of the season.
"That was a terrific effort from my team," Ole'Nuar said. "At 6-1 we were in reasonable command of the game, although you are never in command facing the might of BN-pool.
"But when they scored we got a penalty straight away, a clean penalty on the rashness of Haizat, and we were back with our two-goal lead.
"That gave us confidence, discipline and shape to our team and we deserved to win."
The players felt Ole'Nuar was key to his side's victory, with him making several superb tactical moves to deny the side he played for from 1982 to 1998.
They added: "Ole'Nuar was outstanding. He rolled back the years. He was fantastic against his old club.
"He will be delighted with himself, and rightly so, and we are delighted with him.
"It was a fantastic performance from the whole side and we fully deserved the victory."

Title bid not over, says Benitez
Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez insists his side's Premier League title challenge is still alive despite their 3-1 defeat by Aston Villa at Anfield.

Tak Lompat, tak rasuah...
Selama 1 tahun 5 bulan, langsung tidak kedengaran sebarang bunyi berkaitan permasalahan wakil rakyat Lunas tetapi sebaik sahaja dia melompat, tu dia! Macam-macam masalah kronik tuan empunya badan timbul.
Cool, bukan?

"Mr. Lim, like that oso can ah?"
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said as far as the state government was concerned, the matter ended when some of the villagers sought help from the Barisan Nasional.
read more Penang washes its hands off Kg Buah Pala issue
After all, aren't they still the rakyat of this State which you are now is da' big chief? Are they not the subjects of your rule? Shouldn't their interests and rights be protected at all times without qualifications and limitations? Hey, isn't that what the CAT government is all about? I'm pretty sure that many lines akin to "serving the rakyat come what may" were in your general election manifestos somewhere, en route to 8th March 08 victories. So why the cuci tangan thingy?
Now, what about those villagers that did not go to BN for help but still hanging on to the belief that DAP Penang state government is that government of the people, by the people and for the people, as what was promised before? Can abandon them just like that meh? Not a good example you know, especially to Matang Pasiaq folks going out to vote for a representative in your government come 25th August.
My hope is that the state government won't be making a habit out of this. Always on the lookout for exit routes whenever they face problems that involved folks not on the same frequency as theirs, politically. Many promises, zero result, that is how many perceived the current state government as. You don't believe me? Just go for a haircut anywhere from Gelugor to Bayan Baru and you will here all sort of grouses with regard to your government shortcomings especially when it involves promises made prior to the last GE. All empty promises they will say. I know because I just had my haircut yesterday and had my fair share of "mengumpat sebelum ramadan" with the barber and some of his clients on issues with regard to 2,3 of your assemblymen around here and the quality of "service" they're giving to the people, yesterday afternoon. But no worries, no need for alarm. That was only a session of gossiping between the little people of penang, just like folks at Kpg Buah Pala. Small matters. Feel free to make more promises. Just make sure that you are able fulfill them, that's all. Shortchanging the people is never a good trait in a government. If you are really interested in helping the penangites, don't back off just because they are flying or looking like they are going to fly other flags than the rocket.
"Olang melah ka, olang ijau ka, olang bilu ka, kita pun suma olang penang lor!"

PRK N11: Terlebih Kilas

How to right a wrong?
Some people they never learn. Lending the words of Counting Crows, I guess they just wanna be big, big stars! But they don't know how, they don't know why.
It takes strong will to get to the heart of matters, some people are just not cut out for it. They keep going on a circle, spinning round and round until they themselves got dizzy.
How do you right a wrong? Pray tell.
Call me old fashion, but I can't see any right in that.

Rule of Politics
And I quote from an old but very popular BBC sitcom "Yes, Minister", "The first rule of politics: never believe anything until it's been officially denied." Hopefully that is not the case here in our Jeff versus JIM saga.
The Star Online, inter-alia, quoted Jeff Ooi as follows;
“The parties which publicly label me as anti-Islam stand the risk of being sued as I will protect my integrity,” he added.
Asked if he would apologise as demanded by JIM, Ooi merely repeated: “I withdraw my statement”.
Will he sue YB Zulkifli Nordin? Interesting, no? By the way YB Jeff, a retraction of the statement does not mean you are absolved from all possible blame in making such statement. You may not mean it but it does not take purpose and intention in a statement like that to offend the people, especially if you are a politician and a public figure. There is a secret in order to avoid situation like that in future, if I may say so, and it is call tact. But I know that you know that too YB, being a politician, the Chief of Staff of Penang state government and all.
To offer a bare denial together with (an oversimplify) statement retraction, not apologizing and further threatened to sue as if trying to sweep everything under the carpet in one desperate move, is not the level of finesse one would expect from a politician, a leader and public figure such as yourself in a delicate situation such as this. Forgive me YB for repeating, it is all about being tactful.

Malaysia Boleh! Yes, we can!
- What issue? "There is no issue. Once we meet up by the end of the week, there will be no issue."
- What 1Malaysia? 3Pakatan Rakyat is better!
- Closed door squabbling is the way to go. Enough with the public outbursts. We can mend all of our clumsy ways based on our (only) common ground, the common hatred towards a common enemy.
- Street Demonstrations are healthy. Voicing out our grievances via demos without permits are the best way to cultivate real democracy in the country. Problems will be solved.
- Dissatisfaction is best made known through street demos. The busier the streets, the better it gets. Closed door stadiums won't do. Bustling Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman leading to Istana Negara on a Saturday afternoon in KL is equivalent to the paved ways of Hyde Park leading to designated Speakers Corner area near Marble Arch in London.
- Good to see that Malays are uniting for street demos. Malay unity other than for the purpose of demos is to be considered as an act of racism.
- Malaysians (or used to be Malaysians) fighting tooth and nail to obtain other citizenship are no less patriotic. They are just changing citizenship for greener pastures, that's all.
- We promote the true Malaysia. We promote equality, tolerance and understanding. But if it is Islamic, it's terrorism. We love PAS by the way.
- Law enforcement agencies are all "Malay institutions". Duh! Whatever that means..
- Anything Malay is UMNO. You talked about Malay's aspiration and hope, you're championing UMNO's corrupt ways.
- Let's grilled the witnesses called by the coroner as if you are defending someone in criminal trials, after all that's what inquest is for. The voters are watching. Now is the time to give them their money's worth.

MACC at it again: No protest this time around?
KUALA TERENGGANU: A Terengganu state assemblyman was arrested Sunday by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for allegedly accepting a RM20,000 bribe.
The assemblyman is alleged to have accepted the money as an inducement to secure a landscape project in Kuala Lumpur for a company.
It is learnt that he was picked up at about 9.30am in Kijal, south of here, when he was with a friend and that RM5,000 was found on him.
read more The Star Online's MACC nabs T'ganu rep for allegedly taking RM20,000 bribe
Why not, since it is after all the "notorious" MACC that is behind the arrest? No jumping up and down like what they did in Selangor? UMNO people deserve some kind of protection and sympathy from the "evil" MACC too. Hey, it could well be another "conspiracy" and blatant "abuse of power" by you know who ...you never know ;-)
How lah people?

Mabuk, amuk & merajuk
Kita, kita bukanlah mereka
Mereka, mereka bukanlah kita
Haruskah kita jadi mereka
Mereka jadi kita
Revolusi atau hanya nafsi-nafsi
Kita kata kita melamun
Kita kata kita jakun
Kuno pasif dan irihati
Malas pula boleh dibeli
Suka berpolitik
Kau dan aku, kita
Berdiri di persimpangan
Kau di di persimpangan
Kau dan aku, kita
Dalam kemelut dan kekalutan
Biarkan luncai terjun
Dengan labu-labunya
Biarkan biarkan
Mabuk, amuk dan merajuk
Itukah cogankata kita
Dan diwarisi dari Pak Tua
Dari Pak Tua
*Lagu/Lirik: Biarkan Luncai Terjun - 1988 (M.Nasir)

- the next of kin or personal representative of the deceased person;
- a representative of an enforcement authority or government department appointed to attend to attend the inquiry;
- any other person who, in the opinion of the Magistrate, is properly an interested person.
Persoalannya, adakah kerajaan negeri selangor di dalam mengeluarkan kenyataan berikut;
“The state is determined to ensure that the rights of the late Teoh, his family and other state officials who will be testifying at both proceedings are protected at all times,” said Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim today in a statement released by his office.
Mengikut pemahaman saya, isu-isu yang akan diputuskan di dalam satu inkues adalah berkaitan simati dan perihal kematiannya dan penetapan yang akan dibuat adalah samada kematian mengejut tersebut disebabkan oleh;
- an accident caused by the deceased’s own fault;
- by events beyond human control; or
- due to the actions of known or unknown person/s.

Ramaikan bakal pengundi bukan ahli...

Another conspiracy, yet again!
“The allegations are pure bull . We are not afraid of any investigations,” said Liu, adding that officers in the land office would be able to testify that everything was above board.

Inquest, why not?
Why would not an inquest alone be sufficient to investigate the cause of death? Professional witnesses, medical, forensic evidence etc. will be presented in that judicial investigation. Evidence will be lead in an open court. Every shred of evidence tendered will be recorded and shall be made available for public scrutiny upon its completion. Everyone is entitled to see whatever transpires in such proceeding, it is a public inquiry. Parties will be accountable for evidence lead in such an inquest, you lie in the proceeding, you will still pay the price. The power of the court is wide enough, even to an extent that it may allow hearsay evidence to be admitted in such proceeding, if it thinks fit. And ultimately, if there is evidence of murder and/or culpable act or omission on anyone's part leading to the death, the verdict of the court will lead to criminal prosecution. Isn't that what the brouhaha is all about? Furthermore verdicts of the inquest are revisable by the higher courts if parties are not satisfied with its findings. So, what's the fuss here?
And why making noise on the proposed RCI? Why, tak percaya ke? Shocked that Najib & Co. are going with "your flow"? Now coupled with an inquest some more.. Aiyah... got that feeling you are about to be check-mated by the other fella is it? Serves you right. People getting tired of this incessant politicking. Everything under the sun you want to politicize just to save your own skin. Trying hard to make the people to not see the wood for the trees, is that it? You are trying TOO hard. You think we people can't see?
Reading this, we know already lah!
What the Malaysian public want is a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the mysterious causes of Teoh’s death at 14th floor of MACC Hqrs, the investigating procedures of MACC as well as into the independence, professionalism and integrity of the MACC whether it has become the catspaw of its political masters to declare war on the Pakatan Rakyat instead of declaring war on corruption.
MCA, Gerakan, MIC and SUPP Ministers have led the Teoh family and the public “up the garden path” into believing that they support a Royal Commission of Inquiry into Teoh’s death.
What "Malaysian public"? It's more like "What the DAP and its supporters want.." It's never about Teoh, it's all about the "MACC versus DAP", that's all. It's not "Justice for Teoh", just admit it, it is more about "Justice for DAP and friends in Selangor". It's not about integrity, it's all about shifting the attention from your own problems, in Penang, Selangor, Kedah & everywhere. And why the not so clever initiative in lumping ups the "MCA, Gerakan, MIC & SUPP" cabinet ministers with regard to this particular cabinet decision? Trying hard to play that "easy" game here are we? What is that got to do with anything lah? Why don't you just stop at MCA and Gerakan-lah brother, no need to play it safe by including MIC and SUPP ministers to complete the sick equation in your mind. And you have the cheek to accused UMNO, NST & Utusan Malaysia trying to play the racial card here ...man, some people!

PRK N41: Tahniah Pengundi-Pengundi Manek Urai!

PRK N41 Manek Urai: Selamat Mengundi!
Selamat mengundi warga MU!

Liberalisasi sana-sini....
Baca Melayu sokong liberalisasi
Kalau sedar, mana semangat mana pengat, mana makro mana koro, baguslah.
Tambahan (Off Topic)

Irritating & Lame
People, you are also bosses, more than bosses, you lord over those politicians you elected to office. As the big kahunas, what would you do to these politicians who have been given the chance to start serving you (because they say they will serve you better than the last batch of employees that you dismissed on 8th March 2008), but during the course of employment kept on coming back to you with the same old excuses and lame reasons whenever they can't discharge their duties or make good of their promises?
- Lim claimed that Koh, now a federal minister, was responsible for the controversy as it was during the Barisan Nasional (BN) government’s rule of Penang that the decision was made to alienate the land concerned to a private developer.
- “I think the only solution is for Koh Tsu Koon as the former chief minister, who is responsible for this problem in Kampung Buah Pala, to take it up with the federal government and ask the federal government for an allocation or a grant to the Penang state for an amount necessary to have a win-win solution,” he said.
If you feel they are not up to it, when the time comes, in the famous words of Donald Trump's The Apprentice, say it to their faces-the ballot box way- "You are fired!"? After all you have done just that, to those that failed you. And you can continue doing that over and over again until you get the best out of them. Until they get it, that you hire because you want them to do the jobs that the previous one can't.
