Che Det Is Back!

As a blogger this time, the pseudonym "Che Det" is back.

A blog simply named "Dr. Mahathir Mohamad". What's in the name? Everything.

because I am sure that you'll be visiting the site time and time again from now on. Welcome to the blogosphere TDM! Looking forward to your future posts. For now, he talks about the appointment of judges. As usual, he's talking sense.

Updated!
As at 1.09am 2nd May 2008 (about 24 hrs after his 1st posting), there were 42, 734 hits and 382 comments for the 1st blog entry. At this rate, Che Det's blog site will breach the 1 million hits mark in 3 to 4 weeks time.

Not bad for the grand old man of Malaysia (that some quarters say as not relevant anymore) who once told reporters (tongue-in-cheek, of course), "Don't ask me, I am a bread seller only, I don't know anything", not bad at all.

Syabas Tun!

I must say that I am truly grateful to our ex premier, Tun Mahathir. This is the best place for you to air your view after resigning as PM. Nonetheless, people had accused you for trying to meddle with the present administration but truly we need somebody, someone per se to help straighten up those foolish ideas, minds, nepotism etc. which might RUIN this wonderful Malasia. Enough is enough, bring him down....

A lot of people have been and are continuing to accuse Tun Dr Mahathir of nasty stuff, for e.g. that he is the person responsible for making setting the precedence on bad governance in ruling this country. I personally do not subscribe to this view.

I shall not go so far as saying that TDM is my hero or my idol, I think it would suffice for me to say that I am truly grateful for what he has done for Malaysia. If we have another leader like him, we are indeed blessed, if we don't, we have to try and emulate all of the good that TDM had imparted to us.

He needs to be heard and I'm glad he started his own blog. Contrary to popular belief, I am convinced that he is not making so much noise to benefit his family or his children. He is too much a man of principles to let our country go down the drain, at least not when he is still alive.

God bless TDM.
