Apparently P.Ramlee was a member of UMNO Jerai Division. Read Tangents: Restless Musings of A Malay Mind P. Ramlee, UMNO Member And Critic... Ah, The Good Old Days!. I didn't know that. Pendekar Bujang Lapok can criticize UMNO during their time. Nowadays, in UMNO, can you do that?
