Where is the PM?

While the nation is a bit jittery with regard to development especially around the Klang valley, the sight of uniform personnels increasing and with the rise of unhealthy politicking, our PM is nowhere to be found. I don't mean that he has gone M.I.A. such as our poor Bala PI and his family, but more on his presence as a leader for the nation.

How I wish that he'll be making his rounds in the media with assurance after assurance that there is nothing unhealthy is taking place with regard to the stability and peace that has been a trademark for this home of ours.

Instead of making his presence felt as a leader of the nation ensuring us with all that we wanted to hear at this time especially, he's far more busy ensuring his own political survival and personal agenda.

I sincerely hope that whatever it is going on now are only rumours like what he said in parliament last Thursday.

Excerpts from Lim Kit Siang's blog;

In Parliament last evening (Thursday), the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told reporters that the people should not to listen to rumours of an impending emergency rule. He said:

“The government was (err.. was? I hope LKS was not quoting him in verbatim) stable. The security is under control. Everything is under control. Don’t believe anything you hear.

“I don’t think anybody should be worry. There are too many rumours.”

I want to believe you Paklah, for the 1st time since the last time that I did so, way back in 2004. Yes, tonight I want to believe that it's all just rumours and there is nothing to worry about, that "everything is under control, be cool".

Don't-Lah "baa-daa-wee" us anymore, dear PM.

Pak Lah memang betui..... Satu hari cakap tak ada election, esok hari tengok election. Cakap harga minyak tak naik, esok naik jugak.

So don't believe saja rumours, don't believe him.....
