UMNO: A political tsunami from within?

Read BigDog's Shahziman and Norza lost at Branch level and rocky's bru In Kota Tinggi, Syed Hamid trails for context.

High hopes are being rested upon the weary shoulders UMNO's ordinary members currently at the branches level, to re-send the signal to their President that he and his team are no more needed and that he can't unilaterally decides when and how he's going to go. What transpired today as being blogged by BigDog and Rocky hopefully would do some good and set a precedent to other branches of UMNO which are yet to convene their branch level meetings.

UMNO members should demonstrate to the outside world that their party is actually in its way to heal itself and not on a self-destruct mode as currently perceived by many. They must always remember that whatever the outcome in UMNO elections this coming December will shape the path and future, not only their party, but the nation itself. Be sincere to yourself and your fellow Malaysians. Don't be selfish. There's simply too much at stake.

As being succinctly put by some UMNO leaders that politics is the art of impossible when asked about the possibilities of UMNO-PAS merger, the same should apply when it comes to removal of an incumbent, notwithstanding the fact that he is currently the President of UMNO and the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Nothing is impossible.

P/S: Also high on my current wishlist, Liverpool is the next 2008/09 Premier League champion. Welcome Robbie Keane!

Do understand the present Malay dilemma. They do not want the present Umno leadership. But they also do not want Anwar and the DAP. If there is a third alternative. then why not?

yes, why not? before choosing between 2 lesser evils, I would definitely seek for a 3rd alternatives, if there is one. Nik Aziz for PM!
